行脚祇　參松源，早是信卜賣屋，更說東山正傳，
大似老馬嚼粟，近人情，無面目，引得兒孫阿轆轆，
報恩盡力讚揚，也是鷺股割肉。

On his itinerant pilgrimage he only studied under Songyuan; / already that was trusting a diviner and selling his house! / Furthermore he spoke of the orthodox transmission of Dongshan, / much like an old horse chewing millet. / Approachable, having no face, / he led his sons and grandsons into a swirling spin. / Even if in requiting his kindness one exhausts all strength in praise, / it is still slicing flesh from an egret's thigh.
