舉：「西堂因路逢天使，留齋次，偶驢子鳴，使云：『頭陀。』堂舉頭，使指驢，堂却指使，使無對。」

[He] brought up: "Because Xitang met an imperial envoy on the road and detained him for a meal, a donkey happened to bray. The envoy said, 'Dhūta.' Xitang raised his head, and the envoy pointed to the donkey. Xitang then pointed to the envoy. The envoy had no reply."
