6.370

厚重如山，寬大如海，丹青有神，莫擬其踪，僧繇筆妙，
難狀其跡，如上國之春歸，香風四吹，
如銀蟾之出水，萬象歛影，是為三教融通大法之宗主者也。

Weighty as a mountain, broad as the ocean. / Pigments may possess spirit, but cannot delineate his form; / Sengyao's brush was marvelous, yet hard to depict his trace. / Like spring returning to the imperial capital, fragrant winds blow from all four quarters; / like the silver toad rising from the water, all phenomena withdraw their shadows. / He is the patriarch of the Great Dharma that completely harmonizes the Three Teachings.
