身槁如柴，眼明如電，衡鑑台嶺，品藻山外之宗，
揮呵悟門，不墮文字之相，以訥為辯，以戒為礙，
橫拈麈尾　雨花傾，萬象森羅俱鼎沸。

His body withered like firewood, his eyes bright as lightning. / An arbiter of Mount Tiantai, judging the schools beyond the mountain; / sweeping away the gate of awakening, not falling into the marks of words and letters. / Taking slowness of speech as eloquence, taking the precepts as obstacles; / brandishing the chowrie sideways, showers of flowers pour down; / all myriad phenomena together boil and seethe.
