6.38

舉：「大梅因龐居士問：『久響大梅，未審梅子熟也未？』梅云：『爾向甚處下口？』士云：『百雜碎。』梅云：『還我核子來。』」

He cited: "When Layman Pang asked Damei, 'I have long echoed [the name of] Damei (Great Plum); I wonder if the plum is ripe yet?' Damei said, 'Where will you sink your teeth in?' The Layman said, 'Smashed into a hundred pieces!' Damei said, 'Return the pit to me!'"
