舉：「雪峯因鼓山來參，纔入門，峯搊住云：『是甚麼？』山契悟，舉手作舞。云：『子作道理耶？』云：『何道理之有？』峯印之。」
He cited: "When Gushan came to study, as soon as he entered the gate, Xuefeng grabbed him and said, 'What is this?' Shan accorded and awakened, raised his hands, and danced. [Xuefeng] said, 'Are you making an intellectual understanding?' [Shan] said, 'What intellectual understanding could there be?' Feng gave him confirmation."
