6.56

舉：「長慶一日陞堂，眾集定，慶拽出一僧云：『大眾禮拜者僧著。』又云：『者僧有甚長處，却教大眾禮拜？』眾無對。」

He cited: "One day Changqing ascended the hall. When the assembly had gathered and settled, Qing pulled out a monk and said, 'Great assembly, bow to this monk!' He also said, 'What excellence does this monk have that the great assembly should be made to bow to him?' The assembly had no reply."
