舉：「雲門問首座：『山河大地，與汝自己，是同是別？』云：『同。』門云：『一切物命，蛾蛘蟻子，與汝自己，是同是別？』云：『同。』門云：『為甚干戈相待？』」

He cited: "Yunmen asked the head monk, 'Are the mountains, rivers, and the great earth identical to, or different from, your own self?' He said, 'Identical.' Yunmen said, 'Are all living creatures—moths, mosquitoes, and ants—identical to, or different from, your own self?' He said, 'Identical.' Yunmen said, 'Why treat them with shields and daggers?'"
