6.72

舉：「韓文公問僧：『承聞講得《肇論》是否？』云：『是。』公云：『肇有四不遷是否？』云：『是。』公將茶盞，撲破云：『者箇是遷？不遷？』僧無語。」

He cited: "Han Wengong asked a monk, 'I have heard that you are able to lecture on the *Zhaolun*; is that so?' He said, 'It is.' The Lord said, 'Sengzhao has [the chapter on] "Things Do Not Shift"; is that so?' He said, 'It is.' The Lord took a teacup, smashed it, and said, 'Is this shifting, or not shifting?' The monk was speechless."
