守得烏薪暖氣回，夜深寒重易成灰，因思百丈重挑撥，
轉使溈山眼不開。

Guarding the black charcoal, warmth returns; / Late in the night, the cold heavy, it easily turns to ash. / I recall Baizhang poking the embers once more, / Which instead made Guishan unable to open his eyes.
