地窄天寬古所聞，誅茅分得半溪雲，有時夢覺蘿窓底，
懶聽前峯鹿叫群。

The earth is narrow and the sky is wide, as heard of old;
Cutting thatch, I obtain half a stream's clouds.
Sometimes awakening from dreams beneath the vine-clad window,
I am too lazy to listen to the deer calling their herd on the peak ahead.
