世事亂如麻，情人未到家，連延深院雨，滴碎後庭花。
舊話幾時別，音書未有涯，暝煙將四合，何處起胡笳。

Worldly affairs are tangled like hemp; / The beloved has not yet arrived home. / Continuous rain in the deep courtyard / Splatters and breaks the flowers behind the hall. / When did we part from old conversations? / Letters and messages have no limit. / Dusk mist is about to close in from all four sides; / From where does the nomad flute arise?
