菰蒲葉冷暮天低，斷岸舟橫水四圍，秪有一竿湘楚竹，
未嘗容易下漁磯。

Cold are the leaves of wild rice and rushes, the evening sky hangs low; / Beside the broken bank, a boat lies athwart, water on all sides. / With only a single pole of Xiangchu bamboo, / He never lightly comes down to the fishing ledge.
