8.36

上堂：「有緊要，儘儘颺在背脊後；無緊要，時時拈在髑髏前。如今合而為一，謂之混融無際，且恁麼看；不然，滴水寸絲，酬𢤗有日。」

Ascending the hall: "What is urgent, you completely toss behind your back; what is not urgent, you constantly bring before your skull. Nowadays people blend them into one, calling it 'boundless fusion'—look at it like that for now; if not, for every drop of water and inch of thread, there will come a day to pay back."
