次日上堂：「追大鵬於藕絲竅中，納須彌於蟭螟眼裡，此是衲僧家九十日內游戲法門。今朝解開布袋，且收功一句作麼生？」卓主丈：「玉宇澄肅，巖壑生秋。」

The next day, ascending the hall: "Chasing the great roc into the pore of a lotus thread, fitting Mount Sumeru into the eye of a midge—this is the Dharma gate of play for patch-robed monks during the ninety days. Today we untie the cloth bag; what is the phrase that reaps success?" He struck with the staff: "The jade universe is clear and solemn; the crags and ravines give birth to autumn."
