9.71

上堂：「排日治疊，教盡一味，休去歇去，茫然湛然去，謂之得道之士。殊不知，未曾啟口，先犯國諱。只如離言詮、絕依倚，諸方作麼生接納？」

Ascending the hall: "Arranging and tidying up day after day, teaching them to be entirely of one flavour, ceasing and resting, vanishing into vastness and stillness—such are called people who have attained the Way. Little do they realize that before opening their mouths, they have already violated the imperial taboo. But leaving aside verbal explanations and severing reliance, how do the masters of the various quarters receive people?"
