Ascending the hall on concluding the retreat: "Precepts protecting the goose are like snow; conduct keeping the monastic age is like ice—these too are Tian Dan's fire-oxen. For patch-robed monks, in the morning at the three Wu and in the evening at the hundred Yue, the fear is precisely sitting here. Wansong has something to say, only you all are not yet willing to nod your heads."
