Ascending the hall the next day: "The single primal qi stealthily returns, and the myriad beings stir with life. As the Way of the gentleman waxes, the bare pillars consult and inquire; as the way of the petty person wanes, the lanterns dance. Righteousness emerges in an abundant year; the Way returns to remote antiquity. When the National Teacher joyfully asked how it was, [the answer was]: 'From the winter solstice to the Cold Food Festival is one hundred and five days.'"
