寶峯師叔遷化。上堂云。五九四十五。春風吹斷前山雨。行雲歸去復何心。轉背飄然無覓處。無覓處知不知。坐斷十方還是誰。東弗于代欝單越。西瞿耶尼閻浮提。

Upon the passing of his Dharma uncle Baofeng, the master ascended the hall and said: "Five times nine is forty-five; / the spring breeze blows away the rain before the mountain. / The drifting cloud returns—what mind has it further? / Turning its back, floating away, with nowhere to be sought. / Nowhere to be sought—do you know or not? / Sitting across the ten directions, who is it after all? / Pūrvavideha, Uttarakuru, / Aparagodānīya, and Jambudvīpa."
