上堂云。法界無塵心月圓。本光還照未萠前。而今直下分明去。猶較南泉二十年為甚麼如此。金屑雖貴。落眼成翳參。

Ascending the hall, he said: "The Dharma realm is dustless, the mind-moon round; original light shines back to before anything had sprouted. Even if you understand clearly right now, you are still twenty years behind Nanquan. Why is it like this? Although gold dust is precious, falling into the eye it causes a cataract. Participate!"
