上堂云。玉機轉側。梭頭絲路誰分。月戶挨開。域內風光自異。金雞唱曉。石女遊春。翛然鳥道不逢人。廓爾大方還獨步。還知不墮虛凝迴途復妙麼。滿頭白髮離巖谷。半夜穿雲入市𭚆。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said, "The jade loom shifts and turns: who can distinguish the threads at the shuttle's tip? The moon door is pushed open: within the realm, the scenery is naturally distinct. The golden rooster crows at dawn; the stone maiden wanders in spring. Aloof, upon the bird's path, meeting no one; vast and wide, within the great realm, walking alone again. Do you know of not falling into vacant stillness, returning to the path and again being wondrous? With a full head of white hair, leaving the crags and valleys; at midnight passing through the clouds to enter the marketplace."
