桶頭納疏請上堂舉。僧問雲門。如何是塵塵三昧。門云。鉢裏飯桶裏水。師云。塵塵三昧。彼彼不外。千峯向嶽百川赴海。更無一法不如來。只箇堂堂觀自在。

The bucket-master presented a donation list and requested [an address]. Ascending the hall, [the Master] brought up: A monk asked Yunmen: "What is the dust-by-dust samādhi?"
Yunmen said: "Rice in the bowl, water in the bucket."
The Master said: "The dust-by-dust samādhi: this and that are not outside. A thousand peaks face the sacred mountain; a hundred rivers flow to the sea. There is no single phenomenon that is not the Tathāgata; just this dignified Guan Zizai."
