上堂。玉壺著脚四圍寬。妙處其中轉側看。顧鑑功忘鼻孔直。津流識盡髑髏乾。且是甚麼時節。夜橫河漢白。霜洗斗牛寒。

Ascending the hall: "Placing one's feet in the jade vase, the four surrounds are vast; within the wondrous place, look as it turns and shifts. When the work of looking into the mirror is forgotten, the nostrils are straight; when the flowing consciousness is exhausted, the skull is dry. And what season is this? At night, the Milky Way stretches white; frost washes the Dipper and Ox into coldness."
