宗因上座。慶緝禪師。生也同門受業。
死也一路荼毘。生死因緣似有期。天水寒清成一色。
合同船棹碧琉璃。諸仁者。正恁麼時。
合作麼生委悉。鶴鷺竝頭踏雪睡。月明驚起兩遲疑。

Senior monk Zongyin and Chan master Qingji: in life, they received their training under the same gate; / in death, they share the single road of cremation.
Causes and conditions of birth and death seem to have their term; / the sky and water are cold and clear, merged into a single color,
Joining to row a boat upon blue lapis lazuli.
Noble friends, right at such a moment, / how will you understand it?
Crane and egret, heads together, tread the snow and sleep; / the bright moon startles them awake, both hesitant.
