禪人鳳翱。數盡難逃六處渾無影迹。十方不立秋毫。
好看前路崎嶇處。難似天台過石橋。
正恁麼時如何。泥牛踏破澄潭月。頭角崢嶸鼻孔高。

Chan person Feng'ao: his number [of years] ran out and could not be escaped; in the six places there are utterly no shadows or tracks; across the ten directions not an autumn down is set up.
Look well at the rugged spots on the road ahead: / they are harder than crossing the stone bridge of Tiantai.
Right at such a moment, how is it? / The mud ox treads to pieces the moon in the clear pool; / its head and horns are towering, its nostrils held high.
