8.165

澁舟沙水岸棱棱。岸上春泥深涴藤。回首康山懷結社。
真情祖室事傳燈。子孫亹亹雪庭可。
衣鉢繩繩舂屋能。坐照少林牆面意。湛明心地瑩如氷。

The boat grinds through sandy shallows; the riverbanks are craggy;
On the banks, spring mud deeply stains the rattan sandals.
Turning my head toward Mount Kang, I recall the assembled society;
With genuine affection in the patriarchal hall, they attend to transmitting the lamp.
Descendants are tireless, like Ke in the snowy courtyard;
Robes and bowls are continuously passed down, like Neng in the pestle shed.
Sitting and illuminating the intention of Shaolin's wall-facing,
The clear, bright ground of the mind is pristine as ice.
