我初浮舟濟九江。幽尋蘭若山蒼龍。王摩詰畫倚檽檻。
謝靈運詩開綺窓。艾禪高談肖琢玉。
法身雅論非枯樁。夢回便是圓通路。月冷上方鐘一撞。

I first floated a boat across Jiujiang; / seeking seclusion in an ārāṇya, the mountain resembled a dark green dragon. / Wang Mojie's paintings leaned against the balcony railings; / Xie Lingyun's poems opened from ornate windows. / Chan Master Ai's lofty talk was like carving jade; / his elegant discourses on the Dharmakāya were no dry tree trunk. / Turning back from dreams, this is the path to Yuantong; / cold under the moon, from the upper chambers strikes a single bell.
