8.275

晚歲叢林鬧葦麻。可中著眼辨龍蛇。行當五路我能事。
坐斷孤峯渠作家。佛法從來如嚼蠟。
朋儔此去似團沙。音書不寄思惟盡。千里同風却較些。

In late years, the monastic grove is as tangled as reeds and hemp; / right here one must fix an eye to distinguish dragons from snakes. / Operating along the five paths is my forte; / sitting atop the solitary peak, he is a true master. / The Buddhadharma has always been like chewing wax; / companions hereafter will be like balls of sand. / Letters are unsent, thoughts are exhausted; / sharing the same wind across a thousand miles is slightly better.
