籜龍出叢林。脫錦露新綠。昂藏引頭角。密密均節目。
娟然塵外姿。雲霧膩寒玉。翠滿東窓陰。
心眼掃惡俗。虛靜頗道情。清癯見風骨。惠我不老春。
為誰無絃曲。葛陂蟄時事。第恐雷雨促。
不能留高間。雙碧淡相矚。

Shoot-dragons emerge from the monastic grove; / shedding brocade, they reveal fresh green. / Towering, they put forth horns; / densely, their nodes are evenly spaced. / Graceful, an appearance beyond the dust; / mists and fog smooth the cold jade. / Verdant green fills the shade of the east window; / mind and eye sweep away vulgar ways. / Empty and quiet, quite full of the sentiment of the Way; / lean and pure, one sees the bone and spirit. / Granting me an ageless spring; / for whom is this stringless tune? / Things hibernate as at Gebi pool; / I only fear thunder and rain will press on. / Unable to stay in lofty leisure, / twin greens gaze quietly upon each other.
