阿牛純熱不鞭牽。臥向古源蒼樹邊。春谷玉田看去種。
雪山香草飽來眠。背頭隆骨任豐載。
鼻底流津大作川。異路行行哮吼處。莫忘露地未萌前。

This ox is completely tame, needing no whip or tether; / lying down beside the ancient spring and green trees. / In spring valleys and jade fields, watch it go sow; / on snowy mountains, sated with sweet grass, it sleeps. / The high bone on its back bears heavy loads at ease; / moisture flowing from its nostrils makes a great river. / Walking along divergent paths, where it roars, / do not forget the open ground before anything sprouted.
