衲僧田地有來端。底意相携出問檀。春塢耕開雲錦曉。
月津劃破練光寒。飽期束肚三條篾。
功就移身百尺竿。恰恰相投看規矩。谷聲鑑像一般般。

The patch-robed monk's field has its source; / With what intention do you bring it forth to ask the dānapati? / The spring basin is plowed open, cloud-brocade of dawn; / The moon ferry is cut through, chilly sheen of white silk. / A belly tightly bound with three bamboo strips waits for fullness; / Once the work is accomplished, shift your body atop the hundred-foot pole. / Fitting together precisely, observe the rules: / Echoes in the valley, reflections in a mirror, all one and the same.
