瀕海人居不事田。生涯清白是家傳。雷鳴山麓潮橫雪。
津出泥沙鹵泛蓮。氷玉色承殺煉力。
蕨薇滋藉合。和緣。舌頭妙有圓通眼。坐斷叢林五味禪。

People dwelling by the sea do not work the fields; / A pure and white livelihood is their family heritage. / Thunder roars at the mountain foot, the tide spreads snow; / Brine emerges from mud and sand, salt blooms like lotuses. / The color of ice and jade receives the power of refining; / Ferns and greens derive their flavor from blending affinities. / On the tip of the tongue is wondrously the eye of perfect penetration, / Cutting off the monastic grove's five-flavor Chan.
