梅福仙游井汲枯。而今雲水穩禪蒲。青原門下藏麟角。
黃蘗床頭捋虎鬚。學子柏庭寒立雪。
檀家飯甑軟炊珠。乞歸將意叢林煖。松食荷衣良槁癯。

Immortal Meifu wandered away, and the well's drawing dried up;
Now cloud-and-water monks sit securely on their Chan mats.
Beneath the gate of Qingyuan, unicorn horns are concealed;
At the bedside of Huangbo, tiger whiskers are stroked.
Students stand in the snow of the cypress courtyard in the cold;
The donor's rice-steamer gently cooks tender pearls of rice.
Begging alms, returning to bring warmth to the monastic grove,
Though feeding on pine needles and clad in lotus leaves, truly emaciated.
