8.461

風瀾未作見靈源。六處亡功體湛存。諸法性空方得座。
一彈指響頓開門。寒梅籬落春能早。
野雪櫺窓夜不昏。萬像森羅心印印。根塵超豁妙無痕。

Before wind or billows arise, the spiritual source is seen;
When effort ceases in the six faculties, their essence abides in stillness.
Only when the nature of all phenomena is empty does one attain a seat;
With a single snap of the fingers, the gate is suddenly thrown open.
Cold plums along the fence bring spring early;
Wild snow by the latticed window leaves the night undarkened.
The myriad forms arrayed dense and thick are stamped by the mind-seal;
Roots and dusts are transcended and cleared, wondrously free of trace.
