而今別後記丁寧。曹洞家風句未形。月滿鳳林寒不夢。
年深龜殼灼猶靈。沈沈莫觸蛇頭毒。
的的須明犀角星。便與放開聊展手。那時相見望州亭。

Now after parting, remember these earnest instructions: / In the Caodong family tradition, words are not yet formed. / The moon fills the Phoenix Grove, cold and beyond dreaming; / Aged turtle shells, though scorched, are ever divine. / In the deep quiet, do not touch the poison of the serpent's head; / With precision, you must perceive the star on the rhinoceros horn. / Then let go and casually stretch out your hand; / At that moment we shall meet at the Pavilion for Gazing upon the Prefecture.
