9.13

授屈眴衣。秉毘盧印。師坐西山。名稱東震。蜂服之粉兮春蜜之滋。
蚌腸之珠兮夜蟾之孕。
遠氣呈祥靈枝發旁。牛頭接得融居士。華鳥不來庵外忙。

Receiving the robe of Quzhi, / Holding the seal of Vairocana. / The Master sat on the Western Mountain; / His reputation shook the East. / Like the pollen consumed by bees—the nourishment of spring honey; / Like the pearl in the clam's gut—conceived by the nighttime moon. / Far-reaching vapors present auspicious signs; spiritual branches burgeon alongside. / Niutou was received as Layman Rong; / Flowers and birds no longer came to fuss outside the hermitage.
