情謂之外兮言路那通。形殼之外兮模畫那同。
一方明有月。萬籟嘯而風。其應而妙。其用而沖。
圖星之拱兮周羅而北。流水之向兮曲折而東。

Outside of sentiment and concepts, how could the path of words penetrate? / Outside of the physical husk, how could a painted likeness correspond? / In one quarter the bright moon appears; / the ten thousand pipes whistle in the wind. / Its response is subtle; / its functioning is profound and empty. / Mapping the stars that surround it, circled toward the north; / the course of flowing waters, winding toward the east.
