凄然而秋。眼冷心休。溫然而春。口笑眉伸。了了無分別智。
恢恢不思議仁。亡機返朴。得用還淳。
圖畫之巧。那有其神。

Chilly and bleak is the autumn: cold are the eyes, rested is the heart. / Warm and genial is the spring: smiling is the mouth, relaxed are the brows. / Lucid is the wisdom without discrimination; / vast is the inconceivable benevolence. / Oblivious to contrivance, one returns to simplicity; obtaining function, one reverts to purity. / How could the skill of painting capture its spirit?
