9.25

空而無痕。綿綿體之若存。卓而莫群。恰恰用之不勤。
光明破夜月淡泞。出山雲無得而得。
不聞而聞。少林之傳默默。靈山之笑欣欣。龍雷相送魚燒尾。
豹霧俄披虎炳文。齊物飄飄兮。
流夢似隨蝴蝶去。亡機蕩蕩兮。清閒還與白鷗分。

Empty and without trace, / Continuous, its substance is as if existing. / Prominent and without peer, / Exactly so, its function is not laborious. / Radiance pierces the night, the moon is clear and still; / Clouds emerge from the mountain—obtaining without obtaining, / Hearing without hearing. / The transmission of Shaolin was silent; / The smile on Vulture Peak was joyful. / Dragons and thunder send off the fish burning its tail; / Mist suddenly cloaks the leopard, the tiger displays its bright stripes. / Evening out all things, drifting along, / The wandering dream seems to follow the butterfly away; / Forgetting machinations, vast and expansive, / Pure leisure is shared with the white gulls.
