Cushion and meditation board facing Longya—
Why, confronting the dynamic, did they not show masterly skill?
It was not that they meant to strip him bare before his eyes;
They feared he would drift away to the ends of heaven.
How can empty space hang a sword?
Yet the Milky Way can float a raft.
Unsprouted grass can conceal a fragrant elephant;
A bottomless basket can hold a live snake.
Today, what obstruction is there on rivers and lakes?
At the thoroughfares and ferries are boats and carriages.
