上堂。秋風清秋月明。大地山河露眼睛。瑞岩點瞎重相見。棒喝交馳驗衲僧。

Ascending the hall, [the Master said]: "Autumn wind is pure, autumn moon is bright; / The great earth, mountains, and rivers expose their eyes. / Ruiyan pokes them blind to meet once more; / Staff and shout traded back and forth to test patch-robed monks."
