四月八日上堂。雲開山嶽露。雨過色新鮮。瞿曇不出世。敗闕未生前。天上天下賊是小人。三拜起來澆惡水。謾將掩彩當慇懃。

Ascending the hall on the eighth day of the fourth month: / Clouds open, mountain peaks are revealed; / Rain passes, colors are fresh. / Had Gautama not appeared in the world, / Ruin would not have been born before. / Above heaven and below heaven, the thief is a petty man; / Rising from three bows, foul water is poured over him; / Deceitfully taking cosmetic covering as earnest devotion.
