冬至上堂。昨日一線短。今朝一線長。針眼裡過。尺寸上量。短長驀劄斷。巧綉出鴛鴦。舉拂子云。看還見麼。我見人見。眾生見壽者見。咄都不見。最親見。斬新慶賀。千化萬變。

Ascending the hall on the Winter Solstice: "Yesterday a thread shorter; today a thread longer. Passing through the needle's eye, measured by feet and inches. Short and long abruptly severed; skillfully embroidering mandarin ducks." Raising his whisk, he said, "Look! Do you still see? Self-perception, person-perception, sentient-being-perception, life-span-perception. Bah! None of them are seen; the most intimate see. Brand-new congratulations, a thousand changes and ten thousand transformations."
