四月一日上堂。糝徑楊花鋪白氈。點池荷葉疊青錢。兩彩一賽。其或未然。竹根稚子無人見。沙上𠒎雛傍母眠。

Ascending the hall on the first day of the fourth month: Willow catkins scatter along the path, spreading a white carpet; lotus leaves dot the pond, stacking green coins. Two colors in a single contest. If perhaps it is not yet so: By the bamboo roots the young shoot is seen by no one; on the sand the duckling sleeps beside its mother.
