大病現前。乾坤一默。老而不死。是謂之賊。賊賊春風啼鳥花狼藉。

A great sickness manifests before him;
Heaven and earth in a single silence.
Old and not dying—
This is called a thief!
Thief! Thief!
In the spring breeze, birds cry and flowers lie strewn about.
