【七】舉僧問法眼（道什麼。檐枷過狀）慧超咨和尚。如何是佛（道什麼。眼睛突出）法眼云。汝是慧超（依模脫出。鐵餕餡。就身打劫）。

[7] Case:
A monk asked Fayan, (What did he say? Carrying the cangue to present a confession.)
"Huichao inquires of the Venerable: What is the Buddha?" (What did he say? His eyeballs pop out.)
Fayan said, "You are Huichao." (Cast straight from the mold. An iron filling. Robbing someone right on his own body.)
