江國春風吹不起（盡大地那裏得這消息。文彩已彰）鷓鴣啼在深花裏（喃喃何用。又被風吹別調中。豈有恁麼事）
三級浪高魚化龍（通這一路。莫謾大眾好。踏著龍頭）
癡人猶戽夜塘水（扶籬摸壁。挨門傍戶。衲僧有什麼用處。守株待兔）

"The spring wind of the river country cannot stir it up; (Throughout the great earth where can this message be found? The pattern is already manifest.)
Partridges cry amidst the deep blossoms. (What is the use of muttering? Swept away again by the wind into a different tune. How could there be such a thing?)
Three tiers of waves rise high, and the fish turns into a dragon; (This single path is open. Better not hoodwink the great assembly. Stepping on the dragon's head.)
Foolish men are still bailing out the night pond's water." (Clutching fences and feeling walls, knocking at gates and leaning on doors. What use has a patch-robed monk? Waiting by the tree stump for a hare.)
