列聖叢中作者知（莫謗釋迦老子好。還他臨濟德山。千箇萬箇中難得一箇半箇）
法王法令不如斯（隨他走底。如麻似粟。三頭兩面。灼然能有幾人到這裏）
會中若有仙陀客（就中難得伶俐人。文殊不是作家。闍黎定不是）何必文殊下一槌（更下一槌。又何妨。第二第三槌總不要。當機一句作麼生道。嶮）。

"Among the ranks of sages, the adept knows; (Better not slander old man Śākyamuni. Give it back to Linji and Deshan. Among thousands and tens of thousands, it is hard to find one or a half.)
The Dharma King's Dharma command is not like this. (Those who run along after him are like hemp and millet. Three heads and two faces. Truly, how many people can reach here?)
