泥佛不渡水（浸爛鼻孔。無風起浪）神光照天地（干他什麼事。見兔放鷹）
立雪如未休（一人傳虛萬人傳實。將錯就錯。阿誰曾見爾來）何人不雕偽（入寺看額。二六時中走上走下是什麼。闍黎便是）

A clay Buddha does not cross water; (Soaking and rotting the nostrils. Waves rising without wind.)
Divine light shines upon heaven and earth. (What business of his is it? Seeing the hare, he releases the hawk.)
If standing in the snow does not cease, (One person transmits a falsehood, ten thousand transmit it as real. Going along with the error to compound the error. Who ever saw you coming?)
Who would not be ornate and false? (Entering the monastery to look at the plaque. What is walking up and down during the twelve periods of the day? The venerable monk himself.)
