金烏急（左眼半斤。快鷂趕不及。火焰裏橫身）玉兔速（右眼八兩。姮娥宮裏作窠窟）
善應何曾有輕觸（如鐘在扣。如谷受響）展事投機見洞山（錯認定盤星。自是闍黎恁麼見）
跛鱉盲龜入空谷（自領出去。同坑無異土。阿誰打爾鷂子死）
花簇簇錦簇簇（兩重公案。一狀領過。依舊一般）南地竹兮北地木（三重也有。四重公案。頭上安頭）
因思長慶陸大夫（懶兒牽伴。山僧也恁麼。雪竇也恁麼）
解道合笑不合哭（呵呵。蒼天。夜半更添冤苦）

"The golden crow is swift; (The left eye is half a pound. A fast hawk cannot catch up. Stretching out his body in the flames.)
The jade rabbit is rapid. (The right eye is eight ounces. Making a nest in Heng'e's palace.)

One recalls Minister Lu of Changqing, (A lazy boy pulls a companion along. This mountain monk is also like this; Xuedou is also like this.)
Who understood that one ought to laugh and not weep. (Haha! Blue sky! In the middle of the night, adding further grievance and bitter pain.)
